You can enter the addresses in your own language, or if you prefer, specify the coordinates of your gps.

Of course, you can include the route manager into your web page without knowing any programming or web design, simply copying and pasting a bit of HTML.

Check how easy it can be with the example that we offer in the form below:

From:

To:

You may also find useful an example to calculate the route from or to a spot that you prefix, such as your home, your business office, a place of interest, a meeting point, and so on. In that case, you can set the reference address on the form and only ask about the origin where the user wants to reach.

The following example shows the route to Pentasoft offices from any address you enter:

To Pentasoft from:

The interface where you see the results of the route, is an interactive map that allows various types of views (map, satellite, hybrid, 3D, etc.). It also offers a comprehensive positioning and zooming system. The new technique consist of finding similar pages to each result when conducting any search. In the same way, you can also preview documents related to each result item, as well as additional results pages within the same domain as the site that you're previewing.

The following picture shows an example of the similar pages listing you get as a result of your search CNN.

By clicking on the similar pages icon for the "CNN" result item, you get a hit list containing links to the websites of other news agencies or channels like "ABC", "BBC" and others...

In the same way operates related documents link. In this case, it will show you links to documents (pdf, swf, doc, etc.) instead to websites. Keep in mind that you can preview documents on the same page, as we saw in search and preview multiple documents easily post.

One final interesting feature is "More results from this site" link, which like the other previously annotated links, shows you the pages related to the search concept you want, but in this case, within the domain www.cnn.com that you had selected.

It's very easy, the best thing to check is that you try....

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4452949408528127951.post-5116655156828640292008-05-23T18:18:00.016+02:002008-05-23T19:37:29.191+02:00Search and preview multiple documents easilyAt last, you can use Seekky for searching your favorites documents across the web. Another new cool feature is that you have a new bird's view available for each entry of the list.

This means that you can have a closer look at the address you are searching for just one-click away. As an example, you can have a look to the London eye. Click in the bird's view link of the London eye entry and move around the resulting image.

The imagery is Microsoft Virtual Earth courtesy and is available for about 250 major cities around the world. If your city it's not included, be patient, they are working hard to include all major north american and european cities with bird's view imaginery...If you don't want to wait, you can always use the satellite view link, a higher point of view, but on the contrary available all over the world...

You can add the address lookup functionality to your page. Just add a search form with some fields and you are done...

near to:

For those places where bird's view is not available, if you click in the link, you'll see an aerial map of the area with zoom capabilities.

You can have a look to the preview window where you can see a Google Maps view with severals markers pointing interesting places around your search...

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4452949408528127951.post-64277678629789788522008-04-25T13:00:00.006+02:002008-04-30T17:17:57.747+02:00Seekker's suggestionsHi Seekkers, at last we can hear you clearly...
Please tell us what you think about Seekky, how to improve it, what's wrong, any bug...?
We are here to develop the tools you want, tell us about them...

If you have any suggestion please send us your feedback here... you'll find links to suggestions throughout all Seekky's pages...

Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4452949408528127951.post-58520292302307631172008-04-14T13:00:00.003+02:002008-04-30T18:46:52.332+02:00Welcome to SeekkyWelcome everybody to this new blog dedicated to Seekky world...

Seekky pretends to become your custom search engine.
